PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA (BNO NEWS) -- The North Korean government will release 'important news' at noon local time on Wednesday, state-run media said in a brief dispatch, without giving other details to indicate the subject of the announcement.
"An important report will be issued in the DPRK at 12:00 (local time) Wednesday," the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in its report, referring to North Korea by its official name, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). The dispatch was titled "Important News to Be Reported (Urgent)".
There were no reports of seismic activity in North Korea, which would indicate a possible nuclear test.
